Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has recently announced recruitment for many posts including Assistant Director in various departments. UPSC has released the notification of this recruitment in the employment newspaper between 10th to 16th February.
According to the notification, the last date of application for this post is 29th February. There are a total of 120 vacancies in various ministries and departments including Union Aviation, Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Forestry and Environment.

Application is free for women applicants and SC/ST/PWD applicants. Whereas for other category candidates the application fee is Rs 25.
However, before this, Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) had started the application process for the recruitment of 69 posts involving specialists and various other roles. Interested candidates meeting the eligibility criteria were invited to apply online through the official website of UPSC upsc.gov.in.

UPSC Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university or institute.
Age Criteria: Applicants must be aware of the following age requirements:
1. For Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD): 45 years.
2. For Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST): 40 years
3. For Other Backward Classes (OBC): 38 years
4. For Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and Unreserved (UR) categories: 35 years.
