Actually, Apple has removed not one or two from his app store, but 135,000 apps. The company has taken this step to make the app store more transparent. Actually, Apple had given time till February 17 to submit his trader information for the app developers. Millions of apps have been able to do so, after which the company has banned about 135,000 apps on its app store in a few days, following the rules of the European Union.
Explain that according to the rules of the European Union (EU), the app developers will have to disclose their business status. This means that whatever apps are on the app store, they have to give necessary information like their address, email ID and phone number to the developers to list their apps. If they do not do this, then they will be banned on the app store and Apple has banned 1.35 lakh apps on its app store under the same regime.

EU introduced new regulations
The Digital Services Act has been introduced for online platforms in Europe. Although it was temporarily implemented in the year 2023, it became fully effective on 17 February 2025. Due to this deadline, the app developers were asked to follow the request till 17 February.
