Angelina Jolie-Brad Pitt’s daughter is not the stereotypical ‘nepo baby’; choreographer reveals Shiloh ‘never uses it…’

Date:

Shiloh Jolie-Pitt has once again become the main character of the Jolie-Pitt family after a new video of her dancing skills went viral online. Earlier this month, dance pro Lil Kellan Carter posted a video on Instagram showcasing the budding dancer’s talent. It was well received and now Shiloh, 18, has been brought back to the top of the conversation centered around her family amid the ongoing and lengthy legal battle between her parents over multiple issues, including their French winery, custody rights and alleged cases of physical abuse.

On the 18th birthday of the daughter of one of the most popular Hollywood couples, her longtime choreographer opened up about sharing artistic space with her and what the teenage dancer was like behind closed doors. Painting a favorable picture of the rising dancer who embodied an individualistic narrative through her creative outlets, Kellan Carter insisted she doesn’t follow the path of the stereotypical “nepo baby.”

Know what Shiloh Jolie-Pitt’s choreographer said about her

Reflecting on Shiloh’s identity, Carter said the 18-year-old dancer has carved a path for herself despite being in the spotlight due to her parents’ high-profile presence in the entertainment industry. She stressed that ‘Shi’ does not rely on her family’s big name recognition to fuel her dreams.

“Shiloh is an exceptionally talented dancer who exudes dedication and hard work,” the dance pro said during an interview with DailyMail.com.

Highlighting her personality as an “honest and straightforward person,” the actor and fashion designer confirmed that Shiloh “never uses her celebrity status for her own benefit.” He added, “She doesn’t rely on her famous name to achieve her goals.”

Carter claimed he didn’t even recognize Shiloh when they first met. Furthermore, he said their relationship held no significance, “especially at the dance studio.”

While he admitted it can be tough to watch his “celebrity status” coupled with his parents’ powerful influence on Hollywood, he urged people to “give it a try.” “Trust me, it’s worth it,” he assured.

In addition, Carter said he posted videos of Shiloh on his social media, just like he does for any other dancer who attends his sessions and “deserves to be featured.”

Shiloh first captivated the world with her exceptional talent in 2021 when one of her videos took the internet by storm. On May 3, Carter shared a video showcasing her solo dance skills, captioning: “Her movements are insane ✨🔥🔥🔥 Thank you for your energy @sh1lohj.”

In another video posted on her Instagram feed around the same time, Shiloh was seen performing choreography with a group of dancers. Her longtime choreographer praised all the dancers’ hard work and captioned the video: “Choreography session with these crazy dancers @skylersharpint @sh1lohj @tshommie 🌪️ thank you all for coming 🤍 appreciate you all.”

What do Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie think of Shiloh’s passion for dancing?

As for what Shiloh’s parents have to say about her personal artistic path, her father, Brad Pitt, in a rare comment, praised her for her work. Speaking to ET in 2022, he said, “It brings tears to the eyes, yeah.” He also expressed his amazement at how she could do something like this so effortlessly, “I don’t know where she got it from. I’m Mr. Two-Left-Feet here.”

On the other hand, her mother Angelina Jolie, who has not commented directly on Shiloh’s obsession, emphasized the need for her children to have a sense of self-expression. In an interview with Reuters in 2010, she said, “Children should be allowed to express themselves however they want without any judgment because it is an important part of their development.”
