Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal finally made their relationship official by getting married in a private ceremony on Sunday. They shared official pictures of the ceremony on social media but turned off comments on Instagram. Before their wedding, there were rumours of trouble between their families due to their cultures, with some reports even stating that actor and MP Shatrughan Sinha would not even attend daughter Sonakshi’s wedding.
Stay away from trolling
On Sunday, the actors shared their wedding photos, and acknowledged the blessings of ‘both our families and both our Gods’ – a cryptic response to the trolling they have been receiving since speculations about their wedding began.
Just hours after sharing their wedding pictures, many noticed that Sonakshi and Zaheer have turned off the comments option on the post announcing their wedding. This can be seen as an effort to avoid any kind of hate and trolling during their happy news. However, people are leaving negative comments on other posts.

After dating for seven years, Sonakshi and Zaheer said ‘yes’ in a civil wedding ceremony at the former’s house in Bandra, Mumbai on June 23. Despite rumours of Sonakshi’s parents not being in favour of the marriage, her father Shatrughan Sinha and mother Poonam Sinha were present there to give their blessings along with Zaheer’s parents.
Sonakshi and Zaheer chose white for their wedding and wore white traditional outfits for the ceremony. After the wedding, Sonakshi and Zaheer headed to a famous restaurant in the city to celebrate their wedding with celebrity friends. Salman Khan, Rekha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Yo Yo Honey Singh, Kajol, Anil Kapoor, Vidya Balan, Raveena Tandon and Kajol were present at the occasion.
