How to complete the e-KYC of Ration Card: The Central Government of India has made e-KYC for all ration card holders to bring transparency in ration distribution and to prevent the wrong use of Public Distribution System (PDS). How to complete Ration Card E-KYC online
Go to the State PDS website: Open your state’s official public distribution system (PDS) website, as each state has its own separate e-KYC platform.
Open the e-KYC segment: In the services or ration card menu on the homepage, you will see the “e-KYC” segment or similar option for the “ration card”. Go in it.
Enter the necessary details: Enter your ration card number and Aadhaar number (of the head of the family or the member concerned) here.
Verify your mobile number: Use the mobile number related to your Aadhaar account. Enter OTP sent on your phone to complete the verification.
Submit for verification: After entering the details, you will get a message to be completed by your E-Kyc.
How to complete Ration Card E-KYC offline
To complete the E-KYC process, go to your nearest Public Distribution System (PDS) shop or authorized dealer. If you stay out of your kingdom, then you do not need to return to your state. Wherever you are, you can go to the nearest PDS shop and complete E-KYC through E-POS machine.
If you have not yet completed your E-KYC, take immediate action! Go to your nearest ration depot or PDS shop before 31 March 2025 to avoid any hindrance in getting your free ration benefits.
