Bharti Airtel has given a big shock to some customers by announcing the closure of its music streaming service Wynk Music app. Apart from this, the company has also revealed that it is partnering with the giant company Apple, and the Wynk Music app will be shut down in the coming few months. Under the partnership with Apple, Airtel users will now get access to Apple Music. Apart from this, Wink Premium users will get special offers from Airtel for Apple.
Airtel has also announced that Apple Music users will be able to enjoy Apple TV+ through the company’s video streaming platform Xstream.

This partnership will benefit selected prepaid, postpaid and Wi-Fi plan users across India. Let us tell you that Apple TV+ membership in India starts at Rs 99 per month.

Let us tell you that Airtel’s streaming service Wink Music was launched about 10 years ago in 2014. Through this, users can download songs for offline listening, set caller tune, listen to podcasts.
Along with this, you can stream music in different regional languages. According to the EY-FICCI report released in March 2024, there were about 185 million active users of music streaming apps in 2023. However, only about 75 lakh users subscribed to it.
