New Delhi: A woman was killed and her son was badly injured during the screening of the film ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ at Sandhya Theater in Hyderabad. People are blaming Allu Arjun for the incident, seeing which the fans went out of control and a stampede broke out there. The actor was interrogated for a long time by the police on December 24 in the stampede case, after which Allu Arjun has taken a big step. He has extended a helping hand towards the woman who was killed in the stampede and her seriously injured son.
Allu Arjun, along with the filmmakers, has announced an assistance amount of Rs 2 crore for the victim’s family. This announcement was made by Allu Arjun’s father and famous producer Allu Aravind on Wednesday after meeting injured Mr. Teja who was undergoing treatment at KIMS Hospital. Allu Aravind told the media that a check of Rs 2 crore has been handed over to Telangana State Film Development Corporation Chairman Dil Raju.
Allu Arjun is providing all possible help to the victim’s family.
Allu Arjun’s father told that to help the boy and his family, the film unit has decided to provide financial assistance of Rs 2 crore. Allu Arjun has donated Rs 1 crore, while the film’s producer Mythri Movies has donated Rs 50 lakh. The film’s director Sukumar has also given Rs 50 lakh to the family. Allu Aravind said, ‘I spoke to the doctors and was happy to know that the child is recovering.’ Two days after the December 4 incident, Allu Arjun had announced a donation of Rs 25 lakh for the family. He had assured all possible assistance to the family including the expenses of the boy’s treatment.

Injured Shri Teja’s father Bhaskar had told on Tuesday that he received a demand draft of Rs 10 lakh from Allu Arjun. The actor’s manager is also in touch with the family to get updates about the boy’s condition. The family is receiving assistance from both the Telangana government and Allu Arjun. Bhaskar said that Roads and Buildings Minister Venkat Reddy had given him a check of Rs 25 lakh. He had told that after 20 days he saw some movement in his son’s body. He also opened his eyes, but did not recognize any of us. Actor Allu Arjun was arrested on December 13 in the Sandhya theater stampede case and was released on interim bail the next day. Chikkadpally police registered a case of culpable homicide and interrogated Allu Arjun for more than three hours on Tuesday.
