New Delhi: Tamannaah Bhatia visited Kamakhya temple in Assam on Friday 18th October and took its blessings. The actress is currently under the scanner of the Information Directorate (ED) in connection with the money laundering case related to the ‘HPZ Token’ mobile app. The actress, who reached Kamakhya temple with her parents, was seen wearing white kurta-salwar. ED officials in Guwahati had interrogated him at length on Thursday. The actress stayed with her family in a luxurious hotel in the city.
According to sources, the central agency may call Tamanna for questioning once again. Many investors were allegedly duped of Bitcoin and some others in the ‘HPZ Token’ mobile app. The statement of the 34-year-old actress has been recorded in the regional office under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA). No objectionable allegations have been made against the actress, who had allegedly taken money to attend an event of an app company. He was summoned earlier also, but instead of answering the summons, he felt it necessary to be present before the ED on Thursday.

Tamanna reached ED office with her parents
Tamannaah Bhatia reached the ED office in Guwahati with her mother and father at around 1.30 pm on Thursday, 17 October. The chargesheet submitted by the ED in March in connection with the case had named 299 entities as accused, including 76 Chinese-controlled firms with 10 Chinese-origin directors and two entities controlled by other foreign individuals. A case of money laundering was registered by the Cyber Crime Unit of Kohima Police, in which it was accused of cheating innocent investors by promising huge profits.
