Actress Aditi Rao Hydari is all set to mark her presence at the 77th edition of the Cannes Film Festival. Aditi will participate in the prestigious film festival as the ambassador of L’Oréal Paris. On Tuesday morning, the actor shared new pictures of himself on Instagram before leaving India to walk the red carpet of Cannes 2024. In the pictures clicked at his home, the actor was wearing a white jacket with black pants and a matching cap. He mentioned his team for Cannes 2024 and wrote in his caption, “Me Cannes. wish me good luck! We Cannes! Shanu, Ellie Poo, Sandy, Esther, Vaishnav, Santu, Punks, Shakeel, Shakti stay with us! we deserve it!!!! @lorealparis @lorealindia.”

The actor made his Cannes debut in 2022, and sported gorgeous looks on the red carpet and beyond. She also attended the film festival in 2023. Her first look at Cannes 2023 was a dreamy blue Oscar de la Renta look, which she wore for a L’Oréal shoot. The actor then graced the red carpet in a ruffled, sunflower yellow gown by Michael Cinco.

Aditi is being appreciated for her performance in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s debut web series Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar. Through the stories of prostitutes and their patrons, the Netflix series delves deep into the cultural reality of Hiramandi (based in present-day Lahore). The series also stars Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Richa Chadha, Sanjeeda Sheikh, Sharmin Sehgal, Taha Shah Badusha, Shekhar Suman and Adhyayan Suman.
Speaking to ANI recently, Aditi said about working with Sanjay again after Padmaavat (2018), “He creates such beautiful, immersive worlds. He gets the best out of his actors. Hiramandi What makes it so special is that there are so many stories to tell and each one is about a very unique woman. And Sanjay sir really respects his female characters and their stories.”
“She believes that every woman, no matter where she comes from, deserves to be treated like a queen. And her story deserves to be told with great dignity, pride and courage. So, part of Heeramandi On becoming and being with Sanjay sir, she said, “It was incredible to be dedicated to him, to learn from him and I feel very blessed for that, I love Sanjay sir and it was amazing to work with him.”
