Desert is an area where one has to crave for every drop of water. But even in the desert, there is a view of Maldives. Here in one area, you will see islands everywhere. These islands are visible for about 2 months in a year. Actually, this is not a tourist spot. Neither is it a beautiful view. Rather, the condition here is pathetic. After the rain, this area gets completely submerged as if it is an ocean.

Jhakharda of Dhorimanna subdivision area is a gypsum mining area. About 15 years ago, a lot of illegal mining of gypsum was done in this area. Therefore, pits were formed here. After mining, the mafia has left these pits as they are. Due to rain, these pits get filled with water which later take the form of islands. Such a sanctuary with islands in the middle of the dunes is also surprising. However, these islands are no less than any sea island.

Apart from rain, the overflow water of Narmada canal is also released here. This makes the sea visible in the desert for 5 kilometers. This area has become the first choice of migratory birds. Birds from Europe and Iran come here and camp in winter.
