A new bike has come to compete with Pulsar and Karizma, equipped with traction control system and slipper clutch, priced at less than 2 lakhs

New Delhi. Yamaha India Motor has launched the Carbon Fiber Pattern Edition of its popular racing bike R15M. This bike comes with carbon body work like the premium R15M, which has carbon fiber pattern graphics.

Its price has been kept at Rs 2.08 lakh (ex-showroom). At the same time, the price of R15M Metallic Gray version is Rs 1.98 lakh. This new bike is available in all Yamaha showrooms. Earlier, Yamaha showcased this edition at the India Mobility Global Expo 2024.

Looks improved with carbon fiber pattern
The bike has premium features like turn-by-turn navigation. Talking about the design, the R15M sports bike has a new front cowl, side fairing and carbon fiber pattern on the rear side panel. Yamaha has used water-dipping technology to increase its road presence. Along with this, the bike also has all-black fenders, new decals on the tank, blue wheels stickers and side fairing.

How are the features
Talking about the features, the new R15M now comes with a Y-Connect application, which can be used to control riding, music and volume control. This app is available on the Play Store. Apart from this, the bike also includes features like advanced switchgear, new LCD license plate light, digital TFT screen and Bluetooth connectivity.

The bike also features a traction control system, which helps reduce wheel spin. In addition, the quick shifter facilitates smooth gear shifting without manual clutch operation, and the assist and slipper clutch helps reduce lever pulling.

The bike is equipped with a powerful engine
Talking about the engine, Yamaha has not made any changes in the engine of the new R15M. It has a 155cc fuel-injected engine, which generates 18.1hp power and 14.2Nm torque with a 6-speed transmission.
