An American fitness coach and influencer shared her weekly workout regime and said that although ‘these are not fat-burning workouts, they worked best for her’.

Justin O’Regan is a US-based ‘weight loss coach’. He often shares videos of his fitness regime, healthy diet and weight loss journey on Instagram. In his latest video, Justin shares his workout secrets. Sharing videos of her weekly gym workout, she further wrote, “This 6-day split trains each muscle 2 times per week… Note: Fat loss comes from calorie deficit, not exercise. These are not ‘fat-burning’ workouts. This division worked best for me.

Justin detailed his fitness routine and wrote ‘rest and repeat’:

monday – push

tuesday – pull

wednesday – legs

Thursday – rest

Friday – Chest/Back

Saturday – Arms/Shoulders

Sunday – legs

Justin on how to manage after a cheat day

In another video recently posted to Instagram, Justin explained ‘what you do when you take a cheat day too far’. He wrote, “Nothing. Get back on track the next day and forget about it. You can’t ruin your progress by overeating one day… You’ll be surprised to see how much it takes you to gain 1 weight.” How many pounds (0.45 kg) of fat do you need to eat? Do not take drastic measures to ‘make up’ for the extra calories. This may start a cycle of restriction/excess.”
