GUJCET 2026: Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB), Gandhinagar has announced the GUJCET 2026 exam date. Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) for Group A, Group B and Group AB students of Science stream will be conducted on Sunday, March 29, 2026.
GUJCET serves as a compulsory common entrance examination for admission to degree engineering and degree/diploma pharmacy courses in Gujarat after class 12 (Science). The examination has been conducted every year since 2017 as per a government resolution issued by the state education department.

The online application form and information booklet for GUJCET 2026 will be released soon on the official website of the board – www.gseb.org.
Gujarat Board will announce the dates of form submission and fee payment by issuing a separate press release.
GUJCET 2026 Exam Timings and Center
The examination will be conducted from 10 am to 4 pm at district level centers across the state.
GUJCET 2026 Exam Pattern
The question paper will consist of multiple choice questions (MCQs) from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology.
Physics and Chemistry: Combined paper with 80 questions (40 from each subject), carrying 80 marks, to be completed in 120 minutes.
Mathematics and Biology: Separate papers consisting of 40 questions of 40 marks, to be completed in 50 minutes.
There will be a separate OMR answer sheet for marking the responses in each subject.

Students can choose to take GUJCET 2026 in Gujarati, English or Hindi, as the question papers will be available in all three languages.
GUJCET 2026 exam will play an important role in determining eligibility for engineering and pharmacy admission in Gujarat based colleges and universities.
