Actor Kristen Stewart appears ‘uncensored’ in the cover story of the latest edition of Rolling Stone. However, the lack of censorship is not limited to just his words, but also his photographs. In the cover photo, she can be seen posing in a black leather jacket with one hand inside her underwear. (Also read: Kristen Stewart says Twilight is ‘such a gay movie’)
Kristen’s cover photo
In the cover of its latest edition unveiled on its official Instagram handle, Rolling Stone has captured Kristen in a never-seen-before avatar. The caption accompanying the cover reads, “After more than two decades in the spotlight, Kristen Stewart knows who she is – and what she wants. Our March cover star is proud of being a queer woman in the public eye Being, dives deep into his identity. His film, and doing ‘the gayest thing you’ve ever seen in your life.'”
Not only this, in another post shared by the magazine, Kristen can be seen posing in what looks like a locker room. In one photo she is wearing a loose, rust-colored Nike tank top, and in another photo she is wearing a rust-colored T-shirt that says “Animals.” In the third, she is seen sitting on a ledge in a corner of the room, with some naked bodies (of a woman and a man) hidden on either side. What do all the pictures have in common? Her white underwear.
“Kristen Stewart wanted her Rolling Stone cover to send a clear message: hypersexual, to the left of andro, and flipping the gender script: ‘If I ever watched the entire Twilight series without doing a Rolling Stone cover, it would be because That boys were, she says, ‘sex symbols.’ “Now, I want to do the gayest fucking thing you’ve ever seen in your life,” the caption of another post read.

However, the Internet was not very happy with the magazine cover. One user wrote in the comment section, “They did her dirty.” Literally. This whole shoot looks physically dirty, and Kristen deserves better.'” Another commented, “I’m a huge fan of Kristen and the Rolling Stones but is it just me or is this not the shoot.” Another user said, “Some 65 year old dad “What happened to rock music?”, reminding everyone that the magazine traditionally covers music.
Kristen will next be seen in Sacramento, Love Me and Love Lies Bleeding.
