Indian Army Vacancy: Director General of Recruitment of Indian Army NCC Special Entry Scheme is accepting applications under 58th course (October 2025). The application window for the Jobs of the Small Services Commission Officer for both men and women will remain open till March 15 and candidates can register the candidates on the official website on the official website on the official website. The application window was opened on 14 February.

The notification stated, “Unmarried men and unmarried women (including the number of warnings of Indian Army personnel), applications are invited for the Short Service Commission (non -tech) as the NCC special entry in the Indian Army,” the notification states. The number of casualties of the war of army personnel can also apply for this recruitment campaign.

Eligibility

Interested candidates applying for ‘selection of officers’ should have at least 50 percent total marks in the degree and the minimum marks of ‘B’ grade in the ‘C’ certificate of NCC.

Age limit

The age limit for the candidates of National Cadet Corps (NCC) on 1 July 2025 is 19 to 25 years. Applicants should be born after 2 July 2000, and not later from 1 July 2006.

Blank place

There are 70 vacancies under NCC Main-NCC Main category, including 63 general category of vacancies and 7 for wards of wards of 7 Indian Army personnel.

NCC Women- There are 6 vacancies under NCC Women’s category, including 5 general category of vacancies and 1 for wards of wards of war of war by Indian Army personnel.

Probation period

It is important to note that an officer will be on probation for a period of six months from the date when the officer receives his commission. The notification stated, “If he is informed within a period under probable to maintain/maintain his/her commission, her/her services can be terminated at any time whether before or after the end of the period under probation.”

Training

The duration of training is 49 weeks which will be in Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai.
