Yug Kaushal (Pavel Gulati), who is embarrassed by the roots of his small city, fights his parents, Sahil and music (Ashutosh Rana and Sheeba Chadha) all the time. Naturally, the world of Yug is shaken, so more because the girl she wants to marry- Kiara Meena Bansal (Isha Talwar)- wants a happy ‘unwavering’ family. How will he break the news for him? This is the beginning of a confidence for the director because talking about ‘Jean Z’ and its beliefs is a slippery slope. It can spirals very quickly to be a preaching, which bothers the audience. Kaushaljis vs. Kaushal (this is a core, yes) leads the area to climax, but until then, it is mostly a ride. Perfectly shot in Noida and Kannauj, the story catchs the sleep of small cities well.
The speed is good, and the story flows naturally without hiccups. The cast shares good chemistry with each other, which is interested in you. Ashutosh and Sheeba, who are experienced actors, are reliable by the word, as the couple are disappointed when they are not able to achieve their respective dreams. Sekaa, which is also responsible for the story here, also weaves beautifully in empty nest syndrome. The parents of loneliness feel that once their children go out, they will barely hit the house.
What does not connect, the climax, which is not very effective. For performance, Ashutosh now fits into the ‘father’ mold. After Lvavapa, it sees her as a qawwali lover, and even if her playback sequences are not very confident, she works to it. Also for Sheeba. Pavel handles his role well.
