In fact, a announcement by Finance Minister of India Nirmala Sitharaman has given relief to those who want smartphones and smartV. While presenting the Union Budget 2025-26, the Minister has announced to reduce import duty on smartphones and major components used in smart LED TVs. That is, now the total price of smart LED TVs and smartphones in India will be reduced. On the other hand, flat screen TV has been made expensive in the budget.
Actually, the government wants to promote local manufacturing and make these electronic products more committed to Indian users. Due to the decrease in import fee, the cost will be reduced in making these divases.
