NEET UG 2025: NTA has encouraged candidates to update their Aadhaar details and integrate their APAAR ID for registration.

NEET and 2025: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued an official notice, in which it is clear that the APAAR ID is not mandatory for the registration process of the National Eligibility-Sanskrit (NEET-UG) 2025. While the previous notice issued on 14 January 2025. , Encouraged candidates to update their Aadhaar Credit and Integrate their APAAR ID (East known as Academic Bank of Credit or ABC ID), NTA confirmed that it was for NEET UG 2025 registration did not need to.

According to the official notice, the candidates can continue registering for the NEET UG 2025 examination using other available methods, which will be detailed in the upcoming information bulletin.

1. Visit Digilokar portal: Go to the official website- Digilocker.gov.in

If you are a new user, click on the “Sign Up” button. Otherwise, click “Sign in” to reach your account.

2. Create an account:

Fill the required details and set a six -digit login pin for additional safety.

Click on the “Submit” button.

Enter OTP sent to your registered mobile number and click “Submit”.

3. Sign in:

After logging out, sign in using your registered mobile number and security pin.

Verify the OTP prompt and click “Submit”.

4. Navigate on ABC ID section:

Once logged in, go to the homepage and click on the “Join” button under the Academic Bank of Credit (ABC) banner.

A new window will pop up for ABC (APAAR) ID manufacture.

5. Enter the details:

Fill the required information. Your name, date of birth, and gender will be prepared from Aadhaar.

Enter the admission year, identification type and identity price, then select your educational institution from the drop-down list.

6. Select your institution:

Scroll through the options, select your institution, and click “OK”.

Review your recorded details and see the consent details before clicking the “Get Documents” button.

A confirmation message will be seen stating, “Your request is presented.”

7. Download ABC ID:

You will be redirected to the “Documents” section released, where your ABC ID will be displayed.

Click on the download icon to save the PDF version of your ABC ID
