Hollywood star Chris Pratt has revealed that his home has survived the ongoing wildfires in Los Angeles. “I am going back to my house. Miraculously, it is still standing. By the grace of God, we have four walls and a roof.” guardians of the galaxy the star shared via his Instagram page late on Wednesday night. Reporting via video from his car while returning to the fire-ravaged Pacific Palisades neighborhood, Pratt reported that his son’s school had burned down, as well as the homes of several of his friends.
“I haven’t been back since the Palisades fire. It’s really devastating, as you can imagine, and, the good thing is that my house was saved. But at the same time, a lot of people around us have had their homes destroyed, and the community is gone,” he said.
“It’s just, it’s unbelievable. But we are resilient, and we trust God, considering it a blessing. Thank you for all your prayers, your support and your help. It’s truly inspiring to see how our communities have come together. Now that we’re starting to get back to some semblance of normality I’ll keep you updated. Here it is. The Los Angeles wildfires have still not subsided. The fire, which started in Pacific Palisades, one of Los Angeles’ most exclusive neighborhoods, quickly spread to parts of Malibu and Santa Monica. The most recent fire broke out Wednesday night near the Getty Center Museum and spread quickly amid strong wind gusts across the area, according to the National Weather Service.
