Apart from this, Bhoomi Pujan will also be done for the construction of new National Highway.
The Road Transport and Highways Minister is going to gift road projects worth Rs 4200 crore to the state today in a function organized in Vasco Goa. It includes 6 major beaches passing through the state.

Currently, there is traffic jam at many places during season and holidays. The reason for this is that a large number of tourists visit the roads around the beach, which also includes people coming from Maharashtra. Due to their reaching some roads together, there is jam and people visiting Goa are not able to travel much in a day. But due to increase in the length of roads in six national highways, you will not have to get stuck in traffic jams.
