New Delhi. Honda has launched its foldable e-scooter, Motocompacto, at the Auto Expo 2025. This e-scooter will feel like a suitcase. Although the company had told about it only in the year 2023, but it is being introduced in India now and it is likely to be launched officially in the year 2026. This scooter named Motocompacto also folds, that is, you can fold it and take it with you as per your convenience. The reason for this is only 19 kilograms.

its special features
The biggest attraction of Motocompacto is its foldable design, which makes it easy to carry around. The e-scooter has very small styling elements added to its body along with very small Honda branding. It also has foldable seat and handlebar. This scooter is 742 millimeters (mm) long, 94 mm wide and 536 mm high and can be easily lifted and carried. The wheelbase of the e-scooter is only 742 mm and seat height is 622 mm. The weight of the scooter is only 19 kg.

Motocompacto is equipped with a permanent magnet direct-drive motor, whose maximum power output is 490W and torque of 16Nm. The range of the e-scooter is 19.31 km and top speed is 24.14 km per hour. It has a 0.7 kWh battery pack, which can be charged in 3 hours and 30 minutes through a 110V socket. Motocompacto is currently available for sale abroad and is likely to arrive in India by 2026.

The price of this scooter has not been announced yet. But it is expected that the price of this scooter can be within one lakh. No license will be required to drive this scooter.
