In view of the increasing number of these incidents, the Department of Telecommunications, also known as DoT, has officially launched the Sanchar Sathi smartphone app.

The function of this app is to deal with such fraudulent calls and increase mobile security for Indian users. The app is designed so that you can report suspicious activities directly from your call log. This will make the process of addressing fraudulent incidents faster and easier.

What is Sanchar Sathi App?

This tool will enable users to block and locate lost handsets, thereby preventing unauthorized use of stolen devices. This feature will enable users to monitor their mobile connections, identify unauthorized usage and disconnect unnecessary or fraudulent connections. Users can see how many active mobile connections are registered in their name and take action to report or disconnect these connections.
