Baby John Box Office Collection Day 5: Varun Dhawan’s action avatar has failed to impress the audience. His latest release Baby John came with high expectations with a Christmas Day release and an extended weekend at the box office, but none of these factors helped Theri’s remake garner any growth at the box office. The latest figures updated on sacnilk.com show that Baby John has mined Earned 4.61 crores on first Sunday. The latest update states that Baby John has collected 28.51 crore in the first five days. baby john collected Earned 11.25 crores on the first day of release and saw a huge decline from the second day onwards, but barely increased in the subsequent days. The report says that the Varun Dhawan-starrer got 16.76 percent Hindi occupancy on the first Sunday.
Comparatively, Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 is performing much better than Baby John. Allu Arjun-starrer collected Earned Rs 14.53 crore on Sunday, its third week in theatres. There were reports that several shows of Baby John had already been canceled in many theatres, and were replaced by Marco – another action thriller starring Unni Mukundan in the lead role.

Baby John received mixed reviews upon release. An excerpt from the Hindustan Times review of Baby John states, “Overall, there is nothing that makes Baby John stand out from the action. If you can sit through the boring songs and the brutal first half hour then it’s worth a watch. PS- Please stop wasting Salman Khan for cameo in every other movie. How many times will you use it, brother?”
Baby John also stars Sanya Malhotra and Jackie Shroff. Salman Khan also plays a cameo role in the film.
