After winning the Best Couple award at the Asia Artist Awards, Byeon Woo Seok and Kim Hye Yoon did the same at the APAN Star Awards on December 28.
Fans of the Hallyu wave barely have time to breathe this month, as year-end ceremonies continually crown the outstanding talents in the unified K-entertainment industry, with awards in music, TV, and film categories. Artists who have performed outstandingly are included. A day after the Asia Artist Awards in Bangkok announced an extensive list of winners, the star-studded affair of South Korean awards ceremonies returned to Seoul for the 2024 SeoulCon APAN Star Awards.
Kim Seung Woo and Park Sun Young hosted the 10th anniversary of the awards series presented by the Korea Entertainment Management Association Seoul Economic Promotion Agency. Broadcast exclusively by tvN and BIGC, the program evaluated content released on domestic broadcast channels, OTT and others.

The night’s big winners included cast members from some of last year’s biggest dramas. Award-winning star Kim Tae Ri’s uncontested performance in Jeongnyeon: The Star Is Born earned her a Daesang Award this year. Meanwhile, Ji Chang Wook and several cast members from Lovely Runner and Queen of Tears also took home several trophies.
