Sai Pallavi is preparing for the role of Sita in Nitesh Tiwari’s adaptation of the Indian epic Ramayana. Their preparation is not just physical but also spiritual. Sai visits Varanasi
On Monday morning, a fan club of Sai On X shared pictures of the actor seeking blessings at the Annapurna Devi temple in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. She was looking very beautiful in blue salwar suit and matching dupatta. He wore a garland of marigold, applied tilak on his forehead and folded his hands in front of God. In another picture, she is also seen praying with her eyes closed.
Becoming a vegetarian?
A few weeks ago, Sai had strongly dismissed the recent rumors claiming that she had adopted a vegetarian diet for the role of Sita in the much-awaited film. Reports emerging on various media outlets suggest that Sai was committed to a strict vegetarian lifestyle until the shooting of the film was completed, even bringing along her personal chef during foreign trips to ensure that It can be ensured that their food is exclusively vegetarian.
She reached out to X to address these fabricated claims and issued a strong statement against the false reports. “Most of the time, almost every time, when I see baseless rumours, fabricated lies and false statements being spread I prefer to remain silent – even if without any motive (God knows). But now the time has come for me to react Because it keeps happening and doesn’t seem to be stopping, especially around the releases of my films, announcements or memorable moments of my career!” He wrote in the post.
The actor expressed his disappointment over the media reports, saying that further spread of such misleading stories will not be challenged. “Next time I see some ‘reputable’ page or media/individual pushing a fabricated story in the name of news or gossip, you will hear from me legally! Period!” He added.
The film Ramayana, an ambitious two-part adaptation of the ancient Indian epic, has already garnered significant attention due to its star-studded cast and high-profile production team.
Ranbir Kapoor has been confirmed to play the role of Lord Ram. Yash has also been cast as Ravana. The film is being co-produced by Yash and Namit Malhotra, who have previously worked on Hollywood blockbusters like Dune and Inception.
