Delhi IGI Airport News: Indira Gandhi International Airport Police has arrested a person who first trapped a girl and grabbed Rs 10 lakh. After this, he grabbed the passport of the girl and started forcing her to do the ferry. This matter came to light when the girl reached India from abroad after years and the Bureau of Immigration arrested the girl because of the misdeeds of this person.

According to IGI Airport Police, the arrested girl was identified as Kulwinder Kaur. Kulwinder, who returned from Austria, was a resident of Fatehgarh Sahib, Punjab. Investigation by the Bureau of Immigration revealed that the girl had left for Austria from Delhi Airport on June 8, 2009. There is an arrival entry of 12 June 2009 on the passport of this girl. But, there is no entry on this passport of departure from India.

During interrogation of the girl, it was revealed that after reaching Austria, a person named Manjeet Singh had taken her passport and sent another girl from Austria to India on her passport. As soon as this matter was revealed, the police started searching for Manjeet Singh. Before the police could reach Manjeet Singh, he escaped. Despite many years of continuous struggle, the airport police could not arrest Manjeet.

After about 13 years, the IGI Airport Police team found out the whereabouts of Manjeet and the police arrested him from Ludhiana, Punjab. During interrogation, Manjeet Singh confessed to his crime and told that it was he who had sent Kulwinder Kaur to Austria illegally and after that he had sent another girl to India on Kulwinder’s passport.
