Not only this, he stuffed her body in 30 plastic bags to dispose of it. However, his secret was exposed and he had to go to jail. Now the Supreme Court has also shocked him. Actually, this incident happened in Sydney, Australia. The New South Wales Supreme Court refused to grant bail to Australian woman Nirmeen Naufal. Narmeen is 53 years old. Husband Mamdooh Imad Naufal was 65 years old. She is accused of killing her husband after taking control of his property. His body was cut into pieces.
According to the Sydney Morning Herald, the police allege that on May 3 last year, Nirmeen Naufal had single-handedly killed her husband. He used a knife and an electric saw to carry out the murder at his home in Greenacre, western Sydney. He cut the body into pieces very cleverly. Those pieces were kept in 30 plastic bags and thrown in the dustbins of many areas. Naufal had admitted himself to a mental health hospital last month, after which the police arrested him. Police have found strong evidence against him. Her husband’s body has not been found yet.
The government lawyer said, ‘The government says that the accused had a personal motive for committing such an act on the night of the alleged crime. That was to get rid of a relationship in which she was not happy. She was feeling trapped in that relationship. The government argued that when Mr Naufal gave his wife legal rights over his properties in Egypt in May, it gave the accused wife an opportunity to exit the relationship.
During the hearing in the court, it came to light that a witness claimed that he had seen accused Naufal doing something on the night of the alleged murder. Another witness testified that Naufal had made some statements that could be considered an admission of guilt. One thing that has also come to light is that the woman suspected that her husband was having an affair with a woman in Egypt. He suspected that she had got engaged to him while he was married. The woman says that she took this step because of this.
