NASA astronaut Sunita Williams, who is spending a long time in space, has shared that she is enjoying her time there and is in good health. Despite some concerns about her weight loss, Williams reassured the public in an exclusive interview that she is eating well and maintaining her fitness routine.
In an exclusive interview with nbc newsSunita Williams was asked how she and fellow astronaut Butch are spending their long time in space and whether it has any effect on the body. The astronaut replied, “Part of being in space is exercising. We work out for two hours a day. Our bodies have changed a bit, and that’s why we have to work out so much, some people call it space buff.
Williams also responded to social media discussions about his health and weight and said that he and fellow astronaut Butch are doing well.
“We’re feeling good, working out, eating right, it’s great,” he said. “We also have a lot of fun here. So, you know, people are worried about us. Really, don’t worry about us,” she said nbc news,

Meanwhile, Sunita Williams is set to return to Earth in February 2025, about eight months after launching the Starliner space flight from Earth in June this year. Sunita Williams and Butch Wilmore were launched to the ISS in June.
The two were set to return to Earth about a month after their launch, but their return flight was delayed several times due to technical glitches in the Boeing Starliner. Now, both are set to return to Earth aboard the SpaceX Dragon Freedom spacecraft.
