New Delhi: Famous fashion designer Rohit Bal has passed away after a long illness. Rohit Bal suffered cardiac arrest in 2010 and had angioplasty. He was 63 years old. He was a big name in the fashion world, who also influenced Bollywood with his art. He was struggling with health related problems for some time.
There is mourning in the fashion world
Rohit Bal returned to work earlier this year and did his last show at the Lakme India Fashion Week in Delhi last month. The designer stumbled on the ramp, due to which fans became worried about his health. After the demise of the famous fashion designer on Friday, November 1, ‘Fashion Design Council of India’ issued a condolence message. FDCI wrote on Instagram with a picture of the fashion icon, ‘We mourn the demise of famous designer Rohit Bal. He was the founder member of Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI).
Rohit Bal belonged to Kashmir
According to India Today report, Rohit Bal was alive for many years with the help of a pacemaker, which started developing problems last year and he had to be admitted to the hospital. He became famous for his brilliant designs and work in Bollywood. He belonged to Kashmir and was one of the most famous fashion designers of India. He graduated from St. Stephen’s College.
