Ratan Tata died on Wednesday at the age of 86 at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai. On Monday he told that he is going to the hospital for age related test.
Bollywood actor Aamir Khan along with his ex-wife and director Kiran Rao arrived at Mumbai’s National Center for the Performing Arts (NCPA) to pay tribute to Ratan Tata, who died on Wednesday at the age of 86. The actor said that he will always be there. He is appreciated for his contribution to the country. Aamir arrived
On Thursday afternoon, Aamir was seen arriving with his ex-wife to pay her last respects to Ratan Tata. He was seen wearing a gray short kurta with black pants, while Kiran wore a white top with black trousers.
He was seen joining the crowd to pay tribute to Ratan Tata. He was in a sad mood.
While leaving the venue, Aamir shared his tribute to the icon, saying, “Today is a sad day for all of us and the entire country. What he has done for the country through his company under his leadership is invaluable. He was a rare person. We will all miss him very much”.
Kiran also spoke to the media standing outside the venue and recalled the time she spent with them. “We were fortunate to spend some time with him. He was a good soul and now he is no more with us. He has done a lot for us”.
Ratan Tata passes away
On Wednesday, Ratan Tata, who was the chairman of the Tata Group for more than two decades, died at 11.30 pm at Breach Candy Hospital in south Mumbai. Awarded the Padma Vibhushan, he was in intensive care in the hospital since Monday. Early on Monday, he posted a note on social media saying there was no cause for concern about his health and that he was getting checked for age-related medical conditions amid reports of hospitalization.
Ratan Tata’s mortal remains were taken from his home on Thursday morning in a white flower-decorated hearse to NCPA in South Mumbai, where it will be kept for the public to pay their last respects. His last rites will be performed at Worli crematorium in Mumbai. He was given a state funeral by Maharashtra.
