Xiaomi’s Redmi has launched its new earbuds Redmi Buds 6. The company’s latest TWS earphones support active noise cancellation (ANC) up to 49dB with 12.4mm dynamic drivers. Redmi Buds 6 has currently been introduced in China, and talking about its features, it has a special in-ear design with silicone ear tips.
These have an AI-supported dual-microphone system with the facility to reduce wind noise. This earphone comes with support of 49dB ANC and three transparency modes are provided in it. It also has a 12.4mm titanium diaphragm with a 5.5mm micro-piezoelectric ceramic setup.

It is claimed that Redmi Buds 6 provides a total battery life of up to 42 hours with the case. Apart from this, it is also said that this earphone comes with a battery life of up to 10 hours on a single charge. Redmi claims that a 10-minute charge can provide up to four hours of playback time.
The earphones have a rating of IP54 to protect them from dust and water. Meanwhile, the charging case also gets a crevice lighting feature that informs users about the battery level.

These new TWS earphones are compatible with the company’s Earbuds app. These earbuds support Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity as well as SBC and AAC audio codecs. These also support dual device connectivity. The weight of each earphone is 5.0 grams, while the total weight including the case is 43.2 grams.
How much is the price?
As mentioned in the beginning itself, at present it has been introduced in China only. The price of Redmi Buds 6 in China is CNY 199 (approximately Rs 2,400). This earphone has been introduced to the customers in three color options – Black, Cyan and White. Now it remains to be seen when the company will introduce it to Indian customers.
