The objective of this MoU is to enable job seekers across India to view work opportunities and also help Amazon India and its staffing agencies post job opportunities and find candidates from the NCS portal. The partnership aims to connect individuals with career prospects that match their skills and qualifications

Job seekers registered on the NCS portal will be able to search and apply for a variety of job roles across Amazon’s corporate offices and operations network that suit their skills and aspirations. Access to NCS’s extensive database will help Amazon and its staffing agencies more effectively search candidate profiles and hire them for roles across the country. The company and its staffing agencies can hire a wide range of employees and ally groups, including women and persons with disabilities, the press release states.

“We are excited to partner with the Ministry of Labour and Employment to connect candidate search with the vast network of NCS. It is important to spread awareness about open roles, improve job matching and provide an easy way for job seekers to search, especially for underprivileged communities. By listing work opportunities at Amazon on the National Career Service portal, job seekers across India will have access to the various roles we offer,” said Deepti Verma, Vice President, HR/People Experience & Technology, Amazon Stores, India, Japan and Emerging Markets.

“We appreciate Amazon India for being a valuable partner in this endeavour and integrating with the National Career Service Portal. This collaboration will go a long way in increasing the visibility of work opportunities on Amazon, which is in line with our vision of a pan-India one-stop portal that effectively connects employers to candidates. With Amazon’s range of roles and their commitment to nurturing talent, we are confident that this synergy will open up new employment opportunities for the youth of the country,” said Dr Mansukh Mandaviya, Union Minister for Labour & Employment and Youth Affairs & Sports.

This will help job seekers registered on the NCS portal to easily search and apply for relevant opportunities available on Amazon, the press release stated.
