3. Not using side mirrors
Not using the side mirrors properly can also cause major accidents. Many bike riders try to turn without looking back while changing lanes, which increases the risk of collision with vehicles coming from behind. Please note that not installing side mirrors in the vehicle is a violation of the Motor Vehicle Act and for this the traffic police can also issue a challan for the bike.
4. Use of mobile phone
Using a mobile phone while riding a bike is the biggest cause of distraction. Despite traffic rules, many people ride their bikes while talking on the phone or messaging, which is a direct invitation to accidents.
5. Not using indicators
Not using the indicator while turning is also a serious mistake. Due to this, the drivers coming from behind or side are not able to know about the change of direction and the chances of a collision increase.
