Sharing the news on X, Naga Chaitanya’s father Nagarjuna shared photos of the newly-engaged couple and wrote, “We are thrilled to announce the engagement of Naga Chaitanya to Sobhita Dhulipala at 9:42 AM IST today!! For their special day, the couple approached Bollywood’s favourite designer Manish Malhotra for their custom ethnic outfits that had the perfect blend of elegance and modesty. Instead of a lehenga and gown, Shobhita wore a stunning saree that exuded the timeless charm of the six yards of elegance. Her saree is in an attractive pastel peach shade and features luxurious silk fabric with intricate golden borders that exude a royal look. She has draped the saree in a traditional way and let the pallu fall beautifully down her shoulders.
How Sobhita accessorised her look
She paired her saree with a matching sweetheart neckline blouse which perfectly completed her beautiful look. For accessories, Shobhita wore stunning gold jewellery including a multi-layered necklace, bangles adorning the wrist and beautiful jhumka earrings. Her makeup was perfect with nude eyeshadow, winged eyeliner, a stroke of kajal, blushed cheeks, shiny highlighter and a shade of nude lipstick. A small black bindi adorned her forehead while orange flowers beautifully decorated her bun, making her look extremely beautiful.
On the other hand, Naga Chaitanya opted for an all-white look. He looked extremely stylish in an ivory kurta with a V-neck and full sleeves, along with a matching dupatta wrapped around his neck. With his gelled hair, well-groomed beard and charming smile, he completed his engagement look perfectly.
