New Delhi. Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold is set to launch on August 13 along with the Pixel 9 series. The new phones will be launched in India on August 14. Pixel 9 Pro Fold will be Google’s first foldable smartphone to launch in India, last year’s Pixel Fold was not launched in India. Ahead of the official launch, the display, dimensions and other specifications of the foldable smartphone have been leaked. Apart from this, it is also being speculated that its price will be the same as its previous model.
According to a report by 91Mobiles, the marketing material of Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold has been leaked, which has revealed many specifications of the smartphone. Talking about the display, the phone is expected to get an upgrade in terms of size. It is expected to have a 6.3-inch Actua Cover Display and an 8-inch Super Actua Main Display, whose corners will be rounded.

According to the information received, the foldable smartphone will have Google’s Titan M2 security processor and in-built VPN. Being a Pixel, it will also have artificial intelligence (AI) features. Leaks suggest that features like Circle to Search, Magic Editor and Best Tech are already present in it. Apart from this, it may also have a new ‘Add Me’ feature, which can allow people to add themselves to group photos taking advantage of AI.
Like other Pixel phones, the retail box of the Pixel 9 Pro Fold is said to contain the handset, USB Type-C cable and SIM ejector tool. But, there is no charging brick. However, the leak does not mention the Quick Switch adapter, which Google has been providing with its smartphones.
According to a report by Android Headlines, the dimensions of the handset are expected to be 155.2 x 150.2 x 5.1 mm when folded and 155.2 x 77.1 x 10.5 mm when unfolded. This will make it thinner than not only its predecessor but also the recently launched Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6. The smartphone may also weigh less than the Pixel Fold, but at 257 grams, it is expected to be heavier in the foldable smartphone market.
Expected price of Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold
According to 91Mobiles, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold may launch in two storage variants of 256GB and 512GB. These configurations are expected to be priced at $1,799 (approximately Rs 1,51,000) and $1,919 (approximately Rs 1,61,000) respectively. If this turns out to be true, then this handset will be at par with its previous version in terms of price.
