NEET PG 2024: National Board of Medical Examination (NBEMS) will share exam city allotment details for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test or neet pg 2024 This information will be shared with the candidates on their registered email ID and will not be available on the exam website (natboard.edu.in).
Details about the exam centre will be available on the admit card, which will be released on August 8, NBEMS said.
The official statement said, “The allotted exam city will be informed to all the concerned candidates through email on their registered email ID on 29th July 2024. The exam centre venue in the allotted exam city will be informed through the admit card, which will be released on NBEMS website on 8th August 2024.”
NEET PG 2024 will be held on August 11. Originally the exam was scheduled to be held on June 23 but it was postponed.
Earlier, NBEMS had released a list of 185 cities where the exam would be conducted. In this, candidates were asked to choose four preferred exam cities.
It says, “Wherever the number of test cities available in the State/UT of correspondence address is less than four or the demand for test seats exceeds the available capacity in the State of correspondence address, the candidate will be offered to choose from test cities in nearby States/UTs.”
The board said that the exam city will be allotted randomly from the cities provided by the candidates.
NBEMS said that it is possible that candidates may not get exam centres in their preferred cities due to overcapacity, logistical, administrative or security reasons. In such cases, the candidate will be allotted an exam centre in one of the nearest available locations.
In case no examination centre can be allotted in the correspondence address state or even in the adjoining state, the applicant will be allotted an examination centre in any part of the country, subject to availability.
NBEMS said that candidates who did not indicate their preference for any exam city during the examination will be allotted an exam centre anywhere in the country.
