New Delhi. The country’s leading two-wheeler manufacturer Bajaj Auto is going to create history next month. The company is going to launch the first CNG bike not only in the country but in the world. Yes, this bike will run on petrol as well as CNG. The company can launch it on July 5 at its Chakan plant in Pune. This bike has a petrol as well as CNG tank. This bike came into the discussion when Bajaj Auto MD Rajiv Bajaj revealed it in an interview. He said that Bajaj is developing an engine running on clean fuel and it could be the world’s first CNG bike. Now some new pictures of Bajaj’s CNG bike have surfaced, which have been Rushlane has shared it.
The pictures show that this is going to be a naked design bike, which has telescopic fork in the front and monoshock suspension setup at the rear. Apart from this, the bike has features like round shape LED headlight, small silencer, alloy wheels, grab rail. Looking at the design of the bike, it seems that the company can introduce it in 125cc engine. However, this is the testing model of the bike and the production model may be slightly different from this.
Bajaj CNG Motorcycles: Features and Specifications
Bajaj’s CNG motorcycle can be given a dual fuel system, that is, the bike will run on CNG as well as petrol. A dedicated switch can also be found in the bike to change the fuel, which will allow the driver to switch from CNG to petrol or petrol to CNG. According to reports, the company has fitted the CNG tank under the seat in this bike, while the petrol tank will be in its usual place.

Talking about the features of Bajaj’s CNG motorcycle, it is expected to get 17-inch wheels and 80/100 tubeless tires at both ends. Front disc and rear drum combo combination can be found. The suspension setup will include telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock unit at the rear. Both its ABS and non-ABS variants can be offered. The CNG motorcycle is expected to get a semi-digital instrument console with details like gear indicator, gear guidance and ABS indicator. LED headlight can be seen in the spy shots.
Bajaj CNG Motorcycle: What will be the mileage and price?
Bajaj’s CNG motorcycle is expected to give strong mileage. According to some reports, it can give the highest mileage in the segment. This bike can offer mileage of 100 to 120 Km in one kg of CNG. At the same time, its starting ex-showroom price is expected to be between 70 to 80 thousand rupees.
