Polycystic ovary syndrome or PCOS is a condition where the ovaries produce abnormal amounts of androgens leading to the formation of small cysts in the ovaries. Menstrual irregularities, excessive hair growth, acne and obesity are some of the symptoms of PCOS. It is always recommended to remain dairy-free in PCOS. “Going dairy-free for PCOS can help our metabolic disorder in a number of ways — healing insulin resistance, reducing inflammation, clearing up our acne,” dietitian Talynn Hekatorian wrote.
