Sachchidanand, Patna. Often you must have seen petrol-powered bikes running on the roads. You must have also seen electric bikes and scooties, but today we are going to tell you about a bike which runs not on petrol, battery and electricity but on CNG. The speed is so much that you will start talking to the wind. To increase mileage, one would feel like selling the petrol bike. The maker of this is not any company but 70 year old Arun Sinha, resident of Patna.
Yes, in the age when people take rest, Arun Sinha has prepared a bike running on CNG with his innovation. Arun told Local 18 that this bike saves both your money and the environment.
Know the features of the bike
This bike made by Arun Sinha runs on both petrol and CNG. He has modified the old bike and installed a one liter CNG tank in the trunk. After the CNG runs out, you can also run this vehicle in petrol mode. Arun Sinha claimed that this is the country’s first CNG running bike. It is giving mileage of more than 100 kilometers on 1 kg CNG. After the CNG is over, you can switch on the petrol of the vehicle and run it in petrol mode. It is two in one in terms of fuel.
it cost so much
Arun Sinha tells that it cost about Rs 12000 to make and it took 6 months. Currently the CNG tank is installed in place of the trunk. Trying to fit it in the fuel tank. Also, it is going to give it a new and attractive look. Its design is also completely ready. It will be completely ready in 15 to 20 days.
Where did the idea come from?
Arun Sinha told Local 18 that he does not have any technical degree. Father had many cars. It was my responsibility to take it to the mechanic. The mechanic used to fix the car and learn by watching in the garage. At the same time, Gulf War was going on in the world. People said that now petrol will not be available. Because of this I wondered how the bike would run. Then in 1989, I ran my bike on LPG. Since then he started the business of converting petrol or diesel vehicles into LPG.
Railways forgot after conducting trial…Vande Bharat train will not stop at this big station of Bihar
When CNG came to Patna in 2019, he started the business of installing CNG in vehicles. Then the thought came that why not convert the two-wheeler also to CNG. After this, he modified the CNG equipment installed in the auto in a new way and assembled it in his bike.
