Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has often mentioned Lord Ram during his public speeches in the past. Recently, the convenor of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) had mentioned Lord Ram to target the BJP ruled NDA government. Speaking on the Budget 2024-25 in the Delhi Assembly, Kejriwal said that if Lord Ram had existed in this era, the ruling party would have sent ED and CBI to his house also.
The AAP convenor said without any hesitation, “If Lord Ram had existed in this era, they (BJP) would have sent ED and CBI to his house too and asked him at gunpoint if he wanted to join the BJP. Or want to go to jail.” Attack on saffron party.
Pointing out differences in the work of AAP and BJP, Kejriwal said the AAP government is moving ahead with the model of ‘development’, while the BJP is following the model of ‘vinash’ (destruction) by toppling the governments of opposition parties. Various states.
The reference to ED and CBI in his ‘Lord Ram’ comment was a direct attempt to question the multiple summons issued by the ED. Citing the eight summons issued to him, the Delhi CM claimed that BJP had prepared a plan to arrest him and topple his government.
Kejriwal’s comments did not go down well with the BJP as Leader of Opposition in Delhi Assembly Ramvir Singh Bidhuri condemned Kejriwal and urged him to refrain from making such comments which could lead people to question his faith and devotion towards Lord Ram.
Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Yojana biggest empowerment in the world, says Delhi CM
Later in the day, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal lauded the Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Yojana launched by his government for women. under the scheme, Rs 1,000 will be provided to every woman above 18 years of age for the financial year 2024-25.
He described ‘Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Yojana’ as the biggest scheme for women empowerment. He said, “In this budget we have announced a big scheme for the empowerment of women. Till now fraud has been happening in the name of empowerment. Till now he used to praise a woman from the party and said that women are being empowered. Now I will put one thousand rupees in every woman’s purse every month. Addressing the women’s felicitation ceremony, Arvind Kejriwal said, “An empty purse does not lead to empowerment.”
Highlighting the benefits of the scheme, Delhi CM said that women whose husbands are paying income tax will also get the benefit. 1000 per month under the scheme. However, a woman doing a government job, receiving pension or paying income tax will not be eligible for this scheme.
