85 PC Indian students, teachers believe that availability and AI volume heavy: survey

According to a new survey, New Delhi, April 15 (PTI) more than 85 percent of students and teachers believe that the availability and quantity of AI is overshadowing, while more than 90 percent of AI feel positive about the impact of AI on education.

The survey organized by Turnitin, a global company working in the field of ensuring integrity in education, and by England -based market research firm Vanson Born, the survey includes 3500 students, teachers and data from 3500 students, teachers and educational administrators in six countries, including India, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico, Ireland and America.

According to the survey report, 93 percent of the survey respondents in India feel positive about the effects on AI education.

“This survey is the most reported positive attitude on the impact of AI on education in the fields and countries. 85 PCs of survey respondents in India say AI’s availability and quantity is heavy. Interestingly, the respondents in India are the most positive about the influence of AI, they reported to be the most overwhelmed by its volume and availability.”

Fifty percent of respondents in India say they do not know how to get the most benefits in their roles or studies from AI.

Chaitli Motra, Regional Director of Turnitin South Asia, said, “AI presents an exciting opportunity for students, teachers and educational administrators in the entire region, which is for bending in new progress in technology,” said Chaitli Motra said.

“It is important that the education focus on helping the community feel supported and designed to find out the benefits that may be on the AI ​​learning environment,” Moitra said.

Fourteen percent of students reported to be worried about the use of AI within education, while 50 percent of teachers and 41 percent of educational administrators in Australia, New Zealand, India, Mexico, UK/Ireland and America.
