There is no age for learning and education and there is no limit to dreams. This was proved to the world by a man from Jharkhand when he decided to continue his studies in middle age. Pradeep Hisaria of Jhumri Tilaiya surprised the world when the results of the Chartered Accountant exam were declared. At the age of 49, this man finally fulfilled his dream of becoming a CA. Pradeep Hisaria told Local 18 that after passing 12th in 1993, he started preparing for the Chartered Accountant exam. He had to leave his preparation midway due to financial constraints. In 2016, he started preparing again, but after the implementation of GST, he had to leave the preparation again due to work pressure.
In 2021, when he was taking his son to Rajasthan by train for CA preparation, during the day-long journey, he came across his son’s books. This once again awakened the desire to prepare for the CA exam in his mind. To fulfill his unfulfilled dream, he started preparing for CA.
Working as an Income Tax and GST advocate, Pradeep spends his time in the office from 10 am to 7 pm. He limited his social life to focus on CA preparation. He used to study from 5 am to 9 am before going to office and then from 7:30 pm to 10:30 pm after coming back. He said that good time management and self-study are the keys to his success. His son is in the final year of CA and his daughter is preparing for civil services.
He further said that he fulfilled his dream 30 years after completing class 12th. He believes that making your goal a priority is the key to success. His achievement is an inspiration for all those people who left their dreams unfulfilled for some reason. He showed that success can be achieved at any age with hard work and determination. He said that any task can be challenging, but not impossible. His life and success are an inspiration for the society.
