Tamali Shah completed her graduation in 2020 and in the same year she appeared for the UPSC IFS exam. He secured 94th rank in this examination in his first attempt.
23-year-old Tamali Shah, resident of North Parganas district of West Bengal, passed the UPSC Civil Services examination in her first attempt. He has now been appointed as an Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officer. After completing his schooling, he did his graduation in Zoology from Kolkata. He started preparing for UPSC exam after completing his graduation.
Tamali Shah completed her graduation in the year 2020. Then she appeared in the UPSC IFS examination in the same year. He secured 94th rank in this examination in his very first attempt. In 2021, she became an IFS officer at the age of 23 and was allotted West Bengal cadre.

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) released UPSC Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2024 Prelims Notification on 14th February, Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the exam on the official website upsc.gov.in. CSE preliminary exam application process will end on March 5. The exam is scheduled to be held on May 26, while the main exam will be held on October 19. To apply for UPSC exam, candidates must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university. Or its equivalent qualification.
The Commission has notified a total of 1056 vacancies this year. “The number of vacancies to be filled through the examination is expected to be approximately 1056, including 40 vacancies reserved for persons with benchmark disability category, namely (a) 06 vacancies for candidates with blindness and low vision; (b) 12 vacancies for the deaf and hard of hearing; (c) 09 vacancies for locomotor disability including cerebral palsy, cured lepers, dwarfism, acid attack victims and muscular dystrophy; and 13 vacancies for (e) multiple disabilities from amongst persons under clauses (a) to (c) including deaf-blindness,” reads the official notice by UPSC.
