The updated Brezza gets minor changes to the bumpers along with new alloy wheel design and roof rails. There may also be minor changes in the interior.
Maruti Suzuki has started testing the 2026 Brezza facelift on Indian roads ahead of its official launch in the Indian market next year. This sub-4 meter compact SUV was seen this time on Manali Highway. Manufacturers often test their vehicles in various terrains to ensure that they can perform in all types of conditions when launched. This could be one of the reasons why Maruti Suzuki was testing the Brezza facelift at high altitude.
What do the new spy shots of 2026 Maruti Suzuki Brezza facelift reveal?
The social post confirms that the updated Brezza will come with a new alloy wheel design, which will give a new look to the side profile. The test mule was also equipped with roof rails. As of now, we don’t know if they are working or not. There are no other changes to the side profile.
Other cosmetic changes that we expect on the 2026 Brezza will be minor changes to the front and rear bumpers. The design inspiration may have come from Victoris. The social post also confirms that there are no major changes in the interior of the Brezza.
Having said that, we can expect the Brezza facelift to come with the new digital instrument cluster and steering wheel that is found in the Victoris. Apart from this, there may also be a new touchscreen infotainment system, which is once again borrowed from the Victoris. Some other features that we hope Maruti Suzuki will add to the Brezza are Level 2 ADAS, ventilated seats, a panoramic sunroof, and a powered driver seat.

What mechanical changes could happen in the 2026 Brezza facelift?
The post on Instagram also confirmed that the Brezza that was seen was petrol-powered, not CNG. The 1.5-litre naturally aspirated engine produces 100 PS at 6,000 rpm and 137 Nm at 4,300 rpm. It also comes with a CNG powertrain, the power and torque output on which drops to 87 PS at 5,500 rpm and 121 Nm at 4,200 rpm.
As standard, the Brezza comes with CNG as well as petrol powertrains with a 5-speed manual gearbox. However, a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission is also available with the petrol engine.
Currently, the CNG powertrain is equipped with a single CNG cylinder located in the boot, which reduces the available boot space. However, with the upcoming updates, Maruti Suzuki is likely to introduce dual-cylinder technology or an underbody cylinder, which could increase the boot space.
