2025 Hero Splendor Plus launched, now compliance with obd2 criteria

The Hero Splendor Plus recognized as the brand’s most popular commuter motorcycle has been revised to follow strict OBD2B emission standards. As a result of this update, the price of the motorcycle has increased 1,750 in all variants. The initial price for Hero Splendor Plus is now 78,926, while the premium hero is available for Splendor Plus XTEC 2.0 85,501. All prices are pre-showrooms.

The most important change for 2025 is the on-board diagnostics 2nd stage (OBD2B), which is a new regulation designed to monitor real-time emissions for increased environmental performance. Mechanic, Hero Splendor Plus remains unchanged, continues to use 97.2cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that produces 8HP and 8.05Nm torque. This engine, which is also found in the hero Junoon Plus and Hero HF Deluxe, is combined with a 4-speed transmission.

Hero Splendor Plus: Features

The base variant offers a direct setup, which prefer a simple, fuel-skilled commuting options. Hero Splendor Plus XTEC introduced additional features, while the top-tier Hero Splendor Plus XTEC 2.0 has a Bluetooth-SAC Digital-Analog Instrument Cluster, a contemporary LED headlamp and a more Upsusale design. All variants are now equipped with tubeless tires as standard, increase road safety and simplify maintenance.

Hero Junoon Plus: Update

Earlier this month, Hero Junoon Plus was also updated to meet OBD -2B standards, with a new price 81,651 (ex-showroom, Delhi) reflects the growth 1,750 compared to previous models.

The updated Hero Junoon Plus is powered by 97.2 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that meets the latest emission standards. The engine maintains its output of 7.9 bhp at 8,000 rpm and gives a peak torque of 8.05 Nm at 6,000 rpm, paired with a 4-speed transmission.

In terms of features, the Junoon Plus i3S technology is equipped with an electric start with a semi-digital instrument panel, a side-stand indicator, a USB charging port, other enrichment.
