One of the most awaited cars from the South Korean auto-maker, the 2024 Hyundai Creta was released with a facelift on Tuesday, January 16. The SUV was launched with design upgrades at the base price. 11 lakh today.
The facelifted 2024 Hyundai Creta was released with an upgraded design, new features and a new engine option. Hyundai, one of the most popular SUVs in India, said it has sold over 9 lakh units of the Creta in the country since 2016.
While the Creta was initially the leader in its segment in India, the mid-size SUV now competes with the Grand Vitara, Seltos and Honda Elevate. Reservations for the latest version of Creta started on January 2 this year.
Overall, the 2024 Hyundai Creta will come in seven variants – E, EX, S, S(O), SX, SX Tech and SX(O). These versions of the Creta include cosmetic design changes and several new features including the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) package.
2024 Hyundai Creta: Design changes and new features
The 2024 Hyundai Creta features several exterior and cabin design changes such as rear and front sequential turn indicators, new tail light design, reworked bumper and a stretch of LED light bars at the rear. The alloy design of the tires has also been changed.
Inside, the aircon vents have been changed and the dashboard has been stretched horizontally. While the steering wheel layout remains the same, it comes with an ADAS controller. The interior also features two 10.25-inch screens and refreshed upholstery.
Additionally, the Creta now offers three engine options, with the existing 1.5-litre petrol and diesel units being retained and a new 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine being introduced. Flexible options on the Creta include 6-speed manual, Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT), 7-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT) and 6-speed automatic.
2024 Hyundai Creta: price list
Pricing for the base model of the 2024 Hyundai Creta has been set 11 lakh. A total of seven variants have been released by Hyundai with the facelift, with prices increasing by approx. 17 lakhs.
