Anurag Kashyap is clear on who is the most popular among the three Khans of Bollywood: Shahrukh, Salman and Aamir. The actor-director was asked the same question during a conversation with Komal Nahta, when he revealed that the most popular of the three is definitely Shah Rukh. Anurag said, “Lokpriya toh Shah Rukh hi he, Salman he phir Aamir he. Sabse mehnati aur shrewd Aamir he (Shah Rukh is the most popular, then Salman and then Aamir. Aamir is the most hardworking and shrewd). He is a producer.
Anurag has not worked with any of these three, but his brother Abhinav Kashyap has directed Salman in Dabangg. After the release, there was a falling out between the actor and the director after which they no longer worked with each other. Both Anurag and Shahrukh were part of Luck By Chance, where they played cameo roles in Zoya Akhtar’s film.

At the Joy Forum in Riyadh last month, all three Khans made a rare appearance together, and talked about their careers and friendship over the years.
Shahrukh has not had a release for two years, his last release being 2023’s Dunky. In September he was awarded the National Award for Best Actor for Jawan. Fans recently saw Aamir in Sitare Zameen Par, while Salman released Sikandar in theaters during Eid. He will next be seen in Battle of Galwan and is currently hosting Bigg Boss 19.
Shahrukh will next be seen in King, which also stars Suhana Khan and Deepika Padukone. On Shahrukh’s birthday (November 2), a title reveal video of King was widely viewed on social media.
