WhatsApp has launched Apple Watch app. With this you can now read, reply and send voice messages directly from your wrist.
WhatsApp announced on Wednesday that now iPhone users will be able to use the WhatsApp app for Apple Watch. This is the first time that it will be possible to receive call notifications, read full messages and record and send voice messages on Apple Watch.
WhatsApp wrote in its blog post, ‘This new experience will help you keep an eye on your chats, without having to pick up the iPhone again and again. Now you will be able to read and reply to messages as well as enjoy many long sought features.
Through the Apple Watch app you can now:
Can read and reply to messages
Can record and send voice messages
Can react to messages
A large part of the chat history can be seen on the screen
Images and stickers will appear clear and crisp.
Meta also said that all your messages and calls will be end-to-end encrypted. More new features are likely to come for Apple Watch in the future.
Who can use it?
To use the WhatsApp Apple Watch app:
Apple Watch Series 4 or later
watchOS 10 or newer
Till now, users used to use WhatsApp on their watch through unofficial methods or workarounds. Now with the help of the official app it has become easier and more convenient.
