Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has announced the launch of its 2025 recruitment process by inviting applications for the posts of Assistant City Planner and Research Assistant. Interested candidates can apply online through the official website uppsc.up.nic.in. A total of 11 vacancies are available for both the posts.
The application window for UPPSC Recruitment 2025 opened on October 3 and will close on December 3. Candidates will have time till December 10, 2024 to make corrections in their submitted application form, if any.
UPPSC Recruitment 2025: Vacancy Details
UPPSC has announced eight vacancies for the post of Assistant Town Planner (Specialized). These are divided equally between OBC and SC categories, with four posts reserved for each. For Research Assistant post, UPPSC is recruiting three candidates. Two posts are unreserved, while one is reserved for OBC category.
UPPSC Recruitment 2025: Eligibility Criteria
Assistant Town Planner: Candidates should have Degree or Post Graduate Diploma in Town Planning from a recognized institute. Their age should also be between 21 to 40 years.
research assistant: Applicants age should be between 21 to 40 years. They must have a degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture or equivalent qualification recognized by the Government. Preference will be given to candidates with Territorial Army experience or NCC ‘B’ certificate.
UPPSC Recruitment 2025: Application Fee
The application fee for Assistant City Planner post is Rs 125 for General and OBC candidates, while SC/ST and Ex-Servicemen candidates have to pay Rs 65. For Research Assistant post, the fee is Rs 225 for General and OBC category candidates and Rs 105 for SC, ST and Ex-Servicemen candidates. All payments involve a nominal online processing fee and should be paid online through the official portal.
