Applications are invited for the academic year 2025-26 with the academic session from July-August- 2025, and since then.
The University Grants Commission (UGC), in an official notification, open and distance education (ODL) modes and/or online mode was called for interest to offer programs for academic year 2025-26 and applications from eligible higher educational institutions (HEI) to offer programs for the year 2025-26.

The online application has been opened for window application and will be closed on 3 April 2025. The deadline for hard copy submission for the original affidavit and attachment can be presented by April 15, 2025.
“The application submission window https://deb.uec.ac is open throughout the year. For HEI to offer online programs and Category-L Hei to offer Open and Distance Learning (ODL) programs. The submission of an application should not be considered as a grant of approval, and that all applications will be subject to investigation in relation to the standards set in the UGC (Open and Distance Learning Programs and Online Program) regulations. 2020 and its amendments, ”mentioned the official website.
